Embarrassing Moments as a Noob

Welcome back readers! Just to clarify before I begin this article, I am not "noob

shaming" in any way, shape or form if any of the following, or something similar has happened to you. Being a noob is not necessarily a bad thing, it just means you're new to the game. The only thing I consider bad about being new is the fact you're vulnerable to being bullied, which is not something which I support. Now, on to the article.

I remember is was a Saturday evening in "11 and I was looking for a new outfit. I was browsing through the store and found this cute "Short skirt" that was in tokens. So I decided to leave it as the default colour and purchase it in tokens. Thankfully, not in gold. I wouldn't have been able to afford it in gold anyway, haha. So, I attempted to wear it and much to my surprise I found that it was VIP only. I was so mad at myself and then realized, if it has the VIP symbol next to it then only VIP can wear it, obviously. So I headed to the Trading Post to try and sell it. I was completely oblivious to why nobody would buy it, as there were many VIP's around, however it was a token item and I was selling it way overpriced. Someone even came up to me and said "You don't have that skirt, no you can't, it's VIP only." I tried to explain, they wouldn't listen, I got frustrated and left. I ended up selling it back, but from then on I took much more caution in what I bought from the store.

My next story is a little more x-rated, so skip this paragraph if you're one to visualize. I was at Adrian Black's hospital, and I was having a roam around. I ended up wandering into the maternity ward. There were a couple of women giving birth, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and enter labour as well. There was one boy there in particular, who I found incredibly attractive, who was assisting someone giving birth and decided to take matters (if you get this) into his own hands. So me being an attention seeking noob wished to have the same treatment in my birth. He promptly rejected me, only to receive me begging him throughout the other ladies labour (it was only 2 minutes, if only it was the same in real life).

My final story is I got let into my friends account. She had won 5k gold and was a VIP. So I screwed around with dances and of course, made sure all the tabs in the looks feature had VIP items in them (other than skin, VIP skin wasn't around back then) and I found foundation. The next week at school my friend realised it was me in her account and started to pick on me. So I lied and said I wouldn't go on her account again. I told her about foundation and that it looks good and I suggested for her to put it on her avatar and she completely rejected me and called it ugly. Her friend who didn't even play Smallworlds dumbly agreed. I look back on this now and laugh, Smallworlds foundation is my life saver!!
